Why Fitness is so Important:
Fitness is crucial for the disability community as it promotes overall health, boosts self-esteem, and enhances the quality of life. Engaging in regular physical activity can improve mobility, strength, and endurance, empowering individuals to live more independent lives. Additionally, our fitness encourages strong mentorship and companionship boosting our client's confidence not only physically, but mentally and socially as well!

Physical Benefits
Engaging in fitness offers numerous physical benefits. Regular exercise can enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination, improving overall mobility and health. It also helps in managing weight, reducing the risk of chronic diseases, and promoting cardiovascular health as well. At Special fitness we tailor our routines to match your goals of strength, cardiovascular health, mobility and more! It is our mission to prioritize our physical health for the betterment of our client's lives!

Mental Benefits
Exercising regularly can significantly enhance our mental health by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Engaging in physical exercise releases endorphins, which boost mood and promote a healthy mental space. At Special Fitness one of our main goals is empowerment and showing our clients that they can tackle and handle hard things and challenges. We do this through building their confidence with fitness that can translate to every other area of their life as well.

Social Life and Independence
A huge part of Special Fitness is working on our social skills and bettering our clients independence. Often overlooked, fitness can be a great way for two or more to get together and build a companionship through the gym setting. Not only this, but fitness can be a great way for our participants to engage with each other and can help build strong teamwork and leadership skills applied in and outside of the gym and our fitness sessions.
